Delicious pho. I got the beef pho. The broth was rich and flavorful. The bartender was friendly and attentive and there was a fun, welcoming atmosphere to the place. Will definitely return!

The food was awesome! I got the pho and my wife got the vermicelli beef bowl. The beef here is A+, so tender and flavorful, from the Beef Skewers to the Beef Bowls, it's outstanding. The pho I got scratched the pho itch that had been growing lately. The vermicelli beef bowl wasn't my wife's favorite, so we asked for a substitution for the beef with broccoli plate and that was the buisness. The server was awesome. I drink a lot of water at the dinner table and my cup was never completely empty! A+ They're playing classics and have plenty of statutes and paintings on the walls. This tasteful eclectic decor makes it feel homey. Definitely coming back again.
The BEST bone-in ribs I have EVER had. Go see Bell and Liz for the best drinks and food. I was a frequent visitor at Han Garden so if you liked Hans you WILL LOVE Friendly house of Pho. Service was triple F, Fantastic, Fast and Friendly.
This place is quickly becoming a second home for me. Pho can be really hit or miss in this area (being north of Lowell), but FHOP really knocks it out of the park. The pho itself is flavorful without the overwhelming amount of sodium/saltiness that many restaurants rely on. Primarily a Vietnamese restaurant, they also serve up a great Lemongrass Pork among some other of the region's favorites. The flavors really stand out here. In a nod to this restaurant's previous incarnation as a Chinese restaurant (this is on the site of the old Hans Garden) you will also find many of the classics on the menu. They do a great lo mein and the appetizers are fantastic! Be sure to ask for Mommy's egg roll. The drinks are also top notch with a wide selection of cocktails/mocktails as well as beer and wine. The staff and ownership are attentive and work hard to make every patron feel like family while fulfilling a lifelong dream. Haverhill has been enjoying a great run of solid restaurants in the area and I'm happy to see Friendly House of Pho join those ranks!
Food is excellent the atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are outstanding. The drinks are fantastic and the Vietnamese coffee is delicious and everyone should enjoy one
We had a great meal at Friendly House of Pho last Saturday. We sat at the bar and started with a Mai Tai and the special steak and cheese spring rolls, which were delicious - cooked perfectly! Then we ordered the Pho Bo Vien (beef balls) and the broth was really good - very fragrant and flavorful! The Shrimp Devine Salad was also great, crispy and full of fresh vegetables and herbs. We also got the Sizzling Beef with onions and peppers entree - big portion and we ate the whole thing, also delicious. Ended the meal with green tea fried ice cream! Friendly staff and great service. There's a back deck for dining in the warmer weather. We will definitely be back!
